TSMGI is unique in providing multi-divisional capabilities to our clients including sports, promotional and event marketing services. TSMGI’s full agency partnership with Valvoline has an extra distinctive component. In addition to providing sports marketing and online promotional marketing, TSMGI manages and operates an on-site company store located inside Valvoline’s corporate office in Lexington, KY. TSMGI employs two industry experts to assist corporate employees with their promotional marketing needs.

Cheryl Smith, who has managed the Valvoline company store for 12 years, states, “The store offers the customer an opportunity to not only see the online merchandise in person, but also to touch, feel and even try on items to select the product that works best for them.”

Assisting Cheryl in the store is Devan Mueller, who joined the team in 2017. When Devan initially joined TSMGI, she felt the store in Lexington was a unique opportunity to “put faces to TSMGI as a company” and take the personal experience and elevated customer attention TSMGI looks to offer its clients to the next level.

When Valvoline’s new headquarters opened in the spring of 2017, a new storefront was built within the main lobby of the building. Since then, Cheryl and Devan have seen a continuous increase in traffic and sales. From training meetings to gifts for a customer or sales event to stocking stuffers or an extra shirt for the gym, Valvoline employees utilize the store for a range of needs.

As Cheryl mentioned, “we’re able to offer a lot of variety and we feel it’s great on-site marketing for Valvoline.”
