Job Summary:

Account Supervisor – Sports & Event Marketing/Milwaukee is an opportunity for a passionate Sports & Event Marketing professional to convert innovative, creative, progressive ideas into programs and special events that wow TSMGI’s clients and their customers. Besides the basic skills, abilities, and experience needed to perform his/her routine day-to-day responsibilities, experience in building exceptional client relationships, along with mentoring and coaching team members is a critical requirement for success in this position. In addition, the ability to think strategically and bring imaginative ideas to the table that reinforce TSMGI’s value to clients and the impact on their bottom line is crucial. This is a full-time, exempt position located in Milwaukee, WI (Third Ward), reporting directly to the Vice President and General Manager. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities:

·     Leads and performs the day-to-day activities for specifically assigned sports marketing programs to ensure client services are delivered as promised and within approved budgets

·     Develops clear communication materials (presentations, proposals, POVs, concepts, analysis, etc.)

·     Prepares comprehensive program status and budget reports, along with detailed post-program analysis reports, and recommendations

·     Develops and maintains a close, collaborative working relationship with the client and all of their internal and external partners

·     Oversees and coordinates related sponsorship activation, including, but not limited to: branding, messaging, event / program planning and execution, experiential marketing, client hospitality, ticket management and fulfillment

·     Facilitates internal cross-functional team engagement (Marketing, Finance, Purchasing, HR, Legal, etc.)

·     Identifies vendors, negotiates pricing, and manages programs to ensure on-time and on-budget

·     Travels locally (greater Milwaukee) and to TSMGI’s headquarters in the northern suburbs of Chicago on a regular basis

Key Qualifications:

·     Bachelors’ degree in a relevant discipline

·     8+ years of experience in sports and event marketing (previous agency experience is highly valued)

·     Excellent communication skills, both oral, written, and presentations

·     Solid interpersonal skills, including timely, quality decision making

·     Able to work independently as well as collaboratively

·     Demonstrated drive for results

·     Accomplished process management skills

·     Effective delegation and team development skills
